Kirsten Kusiek, DVM

Dr. Kirsten Kusiek graduated from Oregon State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in June of 2006.  She is originally from Grants Pass, Oregon, where she met her husband, Will, before relocating to Sparks, NV. 

Though they initially moved to the area when Will began working at IGT as a software engineer, they quickly fell in love with the outdoor lifestyle of Northern Nevada and enjoy snowboarding as well as camping. 

Dr. Kusiek joined the team at Pyramid Veterinary Hospital in June of 2007. 

Dr. Kusiek currently has a retired racing Greyhound, Zoey, who joins her on every road trip to Oregon but naturally prefers to sleep on the couch all day.  She hopes to add another dog when the time is right. 

In January 2010, Dr. Kusiek and her husband joyfully welcomed their first son, Asher Ryan Kusiek, to the family.  She splits her time between Pyramid Veterinary Hospital and home, enjoying her son's daily antics and achievements.
